“Sit without money”: the Russians asked Putin to pay an allowance for fees of children in school

In a pandemic coronavirus, many Russians have lost their jobs, lost income. People “are sitting with no money and with fear waiting for the start of the school year”, it follows from the petition, which appeared on the portal Change.org.

The application is addressed to the President of the country Vladimir Putin and the Russian government.

The authors of the petition note that the socio-economic situation in the country has not improved, although the business gradually and are starting to get back to work. “Many are unable to pay off debts, buy children clothes for summer, <…> people are still sitting with no money and with fear waiting for the start of the school year. September 1 — this is a huge cost: you have to buy not only stationery, but also clothes, sportswear, shoes, backpack,” — noted in circulation. It also States that the average fees to study cost up to 20 thousand rubles, and it is feared that “will have to climb in loans.”

 

The authors of the appeal called on the President to provide financial assistance to families with children in August to give all of the regular benefits. “We, the Russian mother, ask the President to help,” — follows from the text of the petition.

Earlier in June and July 2020 Russian families were paid 10 thousand rubles for children up to 16 years.
