In Russia today registered the world’s first vaccine against coronavirus infection. About this informed the head of state Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting devoted to the preparation of educational institutions for the new academic year.

“As far as I know, this morning was the world’s first vaccine against the new coronavirus infection,” – said Vladimir Putin.

More on this the President asked the Minister of health of Michael Murashko. He stressed that the vaccine against COVID-19 was created by the specialists of the center of Gamaliel. He also noted that the drug was developed on the famous platform. It was previously founded six vaccines.

“For a pandemic COVID-19 specialists of the center Gamalei came with a ready technological platform with proven and effective security. This allowed the development team with participation of specialists of the Ministry of defence in the shortest possible time to create a vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus. A group of authors received a patent for the invention,” – said the Minister of health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko.
