Romanian coach Mircea Lucescu resigned from his post as head coach of Kiev “Dynamo”. Lucescu managed to hold a single match in charge of the capital club.
That Lucescu resigned from the post of chief coach of “Dynamo”, informs the Romanian resource gsp.ro.
Some Ukrainian media confirm the information.
Dynamo Kyiv has not yet confirmed the information that Lucescu resigned.
Dynamo.kiev.ua with reference to Gsp.the ro issued a statement the 74-year-old Romanian specialist. He said that he had decided to abandon the possible cooperation with the “Dynamo” for the fans.
“I thank the family Surkis for the trust and made the invitation, but I can’t actively work in the atmosphere of hostility, especially from the group of ultras supporters, whose support is so needed by the team.
I’ve never been a coward and took sports challenges. This proves my transitions from Galatasaray to Besiktas or Dinamo Bucharest rapid. It was fair, I was met with hope and open arms, and I managed to win titles with these clubs.
I can’t accept fans who act against the interests of the club. I think it is time changes, which would cause the enthusiasm, motivation and returned the team to the level where it should be, based on the traditions and history of this club”, – stated in the message.
It is also reported that the arrival of coach of “Dynamo” had no relationship to the cost of the contract.

Lucescu July 23, headed “the Dynamo”. He became the 36th coach in the history of the Kiev club. Lucescu signed with Dynamo contract for 2 years with an option to extend for a year.
The salary of the coach of “Dynamo” was supposed to be around 1.2 million euros per year.
Assistants coach of “Dynamo” was supposed to be Alexander Spiridon, Oleg Gusev and Ognjen Vukojevic.
After signing the contract Lucescu left Ukraine.
