Australian dentists have found that white spots, inflamed lumps and swelling of the tongue can talk about health problems.
Experts ambulance dentistry Sydney explained how language can give clues about your General state of health.
White language. White spots on the tongue usually develop due to poor oral hygiene, Smoking or chronic alcohol consumption. Set up your daily oral hygiene, providing cleaning of the tongue with bumpy back a toothbrush. But if after a week or two makes no difference, it is recommended to go to the doctor to check.

Tiny balls. Lumps on the tongue are often caused by food that you have recently used, especially if it is sharp or hot. They usually disappear by themselves pretty quickly, but if you experience discomfort in your mouth can be canker sores or herpes.

How to care for your tongue

- Avoid sugar: harmful bacteria in the mouth can damage tooth enamel. Reduce the consumption of sugar to reduce the amount of harmful bacteria and improve overall oral health.
- Quit Smoking: Smoking can lead to staining of the teeth, gum disease, tooth loss and in more serious cases, cancer of the oral cavity. If you are a smoker, think twice about the next cigarette.
- Drink plenty of water: dry mouth or lack of saliva can lead to disease of the oral cavity. Drinking enough water can help keep the moisture of the mouth. Fluoride in tap water also helps to prevent decomposition.
