A quarter of Russians have reduced expenditures on food and essential goods

According to a survey conducted by research holding “ROMIR”, 27% of Russians to overcome economic difficulties by reducing expenditure on essential commodities and food.

Compared with the previous year the proportion of respondents saving for this, increased by 10 percentage points: in 2015, reduced expenditures on food and essential commodities 17% of Russians.

52% mentioned that among the signs of the crisis ruble devaluation, and 34% Russians, the crisis is manifested in the reduction of staff at the enterprises and unemployment growth.

The tension in the world situation among the symptoms of the crisis called 21% of Russians. This figure decreased for the year by almost a third. In 2015, about world tensions as expressions of a crisis, said 32% of respondents.

In the study “ROMIR” it is noted that the situation were more likely to call the crisis the representatives of the groups with low and middle income.

As in the past year, assess the current situation as a crisis is characterized to a greater extent for the respondents from older age groups from 45 years and older. The survey involved 1,500 people in all regions of Russia.

Earlier, in February, the Agency “Interfax” has published the results of prosalud center,which showed that 82% of people agreed with the economic crisis in the country, 12% of respondents said the lack of crisis.
