Spice Girls tour 2019: Concert venues, dates, tickets release time, all the info you need
Geri Horner, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Melanie C will be on the road in 2019 for a series of huge stadium dates.
Tickets will go on sale in the coming days, with Jess Glynne confirmed as their support act.
These will be their first concerts since 2007 and 2008, when they briefly returned to the spotlight as a five-piece.
However Victoria Beckham is not on board for the newest shows.
The full list of concerts is as follows:
Saturday, June 1 – Manchester Etihad Stadium
Monday, June 3 – Coventry Ricoh Stadium
Thursday, June 6 – Sunderland Stadium of Light
Saturday, June 8 – Edinburgh BT Murrayfield Stadium
Monday, June 10 – Bristol, Ashton Gate Stadium
Saturday, June 15 – London, Wembley Stadium
Tickets are on sale on Saturday at 10:30am. There will be no presales.
In a statement, Beckham said: “Being in the Spice Girls was a hugely important part of my life and I wish my girls so much love and fun as they go back on tour, I know they will put on an amazing show and the fantastic fans past and present are going to have a wonderful time!”
Melanie C had previously vowed not to hit the road without Victoria, but said of her U-turn: “Reminiscing with the girls about how much fun we had made me feel like it was the right time to do it all over again!”
Meanwhile Emma wrote: “It’s time to spice things up all over again!!!!! I can’t wait to perform to our forever supporting fans and a whole new spice generation! Love you all!”
Mel B enthused: “I’ve said it sooo many times I’m beside myself it’s actually happening yipppeeee. I’m now properly screaming it from every rooftop – me and my girls will see you all on stage!!”
And Geri Horner wrote: “I am so excited, together we celebrate girl power with our fans and the next generation and everyone is welcome! Hold tight it’s gonna be fun xx”
Bookies Paddy Power have offered incredibly low odds of the girls headlining the Glastonbury Festival next year.
“The reunion of the Spice Girls has been eagerly anticipated, and we predict that we’re in for Spice Mania 2.0 over the coming months,” said a spokesperson for the firm.
“They’re tipped to out-sell Oasis at Knebworth, headline Glasto 2019, and we even think there’s going to be a raft of babies born with the name Geri.
“But, as with any friends who haven’t spent any length of time together in years, we wouldn’t be shocked if the reunion was cut short.”
As such, odds are 4/1 that they split within a year, and 10/1 that they split again within just six months.
Plus, punters can get odds of 6/4 that Victoria Beckham joins the fun at some point – even for a one-off.
