Kate's wedding dress: What will Duchess wear for Princess Eugenie's wedding?
Princess Eugenie and boyfriend Jack Brooksbank will tie the knot tomorrow, in front of a huge host of friends and family members.
Among the guests will be Kate, Duchess of Cambridge – who will be supporting her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, who have roles as page boy and flower girl for the service.
Known for her trademark style, Prince William’s wife will need to flaunt her fashion credentials without out-shining the royal bride for the service.
Having shed her baby bump back in the summer, the duchess is is likely to opt for a stylish and flattering design.
And the bookies are predicting Kate might fall back on an old favourite to help her achieve the look.
What will Duchess of Cambridge wear for Princess Eugenie’s wedding?
The latest odds say there is a 1/2 chance Kate will choose favoured designed Alexander McQueen.
Alex Apati from Ladbrokes said: “It’s looking increasingly Kate will turn to a familiar face for Eugenie’s big day.”
Kate often opts for the British fashion house at royal events.
Her Alexander McQueen primrose yellow coat dress won her several fashion plaudits at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding.
While many believed the dress was worn at Princess Charlotte’s christening – thrifty Kate is known for recycling her outfits – it was later revealed to be a new creation.
Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton was also the designer of the duchess’ stunning lace wedding dress in 2011.
What time will Kate be arriving?
Eugenie’s wedding begins at 11am BST but guests are likely to start arriving about an hour beforehand.
Some 850 guests will be need to be seated before the service starts.
As a senior member of the Royal Family, Kate will be one of the last members to arrive so is unlikely to be there before 10.30am.
Will Prince Louis be there?
The Duchess will also be without her youngest child.
Prince Louis is deemed to small to attend proceedings at five and a half months old.
But proud Kate will be looking on as Prince George, five, and Princess Charlotte, three, taking starring roles as as pageboy and bridesmaid.
