Kate Middleton steps out in eye-catching £450 maternity dress and £495 L.K.Bennett coat
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William, 35, and Kate Middleton, 35, arrived in Manchester on Wednesday and are due to attend a number of royal engagement across the northern city as part of the Children’s Global Media Summit.
The royal couple who are expecting their third child together were spotted arriving at the Stepping Out Session at Media City, one of their first stops, to take part in a focus group session with local children.
The BBC is due to unveil details of the Own It project, one of the key outcomes of The Royal Foundation Cyber Bullying Taskforce.
Kate hid her baby bump and covered up from the cold in a stylish grey check LK Bennet coat, priced at £495.
She kept her legs warm with a pair of thick black tights and teamed these with a pair of black block heel court shoes.
The Duchess then kept her fingers toasty with a pair of black gloves and accessorised with a small black clutch bag.
Kensington palace shared pictures of the Duke and Duchess at the BBC Children’s department in Media City.
Once warm inside, Kate stripped off her coat and revealed her protruding baby bump.
She wore a red Elodie tunic dress from Goat, priced at £450 which complimented her black tights and black shoes combination perfectly.
After their visit to the BBC, Prince William will attend a short private meeting relating to the Cyber Bullying Taskforce before deliveirng a key note speech at the summit this afternoon.
Kate will go to a private round table opened by Sesame Workshop on research commisioned into children’s emotional wellbeing, according to Manchester Evening News.
The couple’s appearance follows the announcement of a new code of conduct by The Royal Foundation’s Taskforce on the Prevention of Cyberbullying, which the BBC is a member of.
The Duchess appears a fan of check coats lately as she spotted outside King’s Cross station last week wearing another one.
The Duchess is a fan of designer outfits, and often recycles looks she has worn in the past.
But on this occasion, Kate opted for a mixture of designer and high street to create her off-duty look.
She wrapped up warm in a grey check coat from Zara, priced at £99.99 and slipped into a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, a light grey turtle neck jumper and a pair of black ankle boots.
