Ex-Saturday's star Frankie Bridge reveals her top beauty and style tips
Which beauty products do you swear by?
I’m a little bit obsessed with white smiles, and I’ve got really into Oral B 3D White – it’s a really good toothpaste that genuinely works! I used it for a long time and now my husband Wayne’s got into it as well, so I’ve converted him.
And then also Olay 7-in-1 Total Effect. It’s a moisturiser but it covers all bases. Nowadays everyone wants that natural, healthy-looking skin and I can’t always be bothered to put a full face of make-up on when I’m not working. So for me that covers all the bases.
What are your essential cosmetics?
Make-up wise, concealer – as a mum – is always pretty important! A little bit under the eyes for the old bags! Lip balm is also a big thing for me. I’m a little bit obsessed. If I forget it in my handbag then it stresses me out. I love a bit of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream. It’s kind of one of those things you can use for everything.
What’s your top beauty tip?
My mum always told me to take my make-up off at night and it’s stuck with me. I never go to bed with a full face of make-up on. No matter how drunk or tired I am!
How do you pamper yourself?
If I get to have a bath, in a bath where I haven’t got cars or boats in it and the kids coming in and out, I like to give myself a little bit of a hair mask. The Pantene Three Minute Miracle hair mask is really good because it doesn’t take that long, which is perfect for me. It’s nice to have that time to chill. To have some time on my own is pamper enough!
Do you diet?
Not really. I wouldn’t say that I diet, I just try and eat as healthily as possible when I can. But that’s not always the case…
How do you stay in shape?
I go to the gym a lot. I have a great trainer near where I live.
How would you describe your style?
I’d say I’m pretty lazy with my style! It depends when you ask me. If I’m at home with the kids I’d say I’m an activewear girl. From day to day, maybe a bit classic. I like to keep things simple with a bit of an edge.
Do you have a favourite shop/designer?
I love Zara, I’m always in Zara. And they have a great website, which is a killer!
Who is your style icon?
I’ve always liked Jessica Alba. I always think she gets it right. She looks effortless, no matter what she’s doing – out with the kids or on her own. She always gets it right.
