Avengers 4 HORROR: Does this PROVE not everyone is coming back? New Infinity War heartache
The Avengers rollercoaster isn’t letting anyone off just yet.
As soon as everyone was traumatised by the mass massacre of heroes at the end of Avengers 3, they started trying to figure out how all those lost in The Snap could return.
The film makers keep insisting that those deaths were real but fans already know that characters with upcoming movies like Spider-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy must somehow return.
But what about all the others? Avengers: Infinity War producer Trinh Tran just dropped another bombshell.
What he told ComicBook.com just added a whole new dismension to what will come next and beyond in Phase 4.
Tran said: “The Snap was always part of our story discussions from go. We all agreed Thanos needed that iconic moment, and definitely used the comics as a reference point.
“We were meticulous about each of the characters and spent a lot of time discussing how each character’s death would affect future films.”
That’s right, he clearly talks about how some deaths would affect what comes next in other films, not their return in Avengers 4.
Clearly some heroes must return in some form or other but Tran makes it clear that it the deaths of at least some that will have long-ranging consequences for the next wave of MCU movies.
More than anything this will raise worries even higher for characters like Gamora, Loki and Vision.
They were killed before The Snap so any rumoured plot twist to reverse the Snap may not bring them back anyway.
Either way, it looks like Avengers 4 will be even more dramatic and emotional than Infinity War.
He also reveals the genuinely shocked reactions of the Avengers 3 cast to the final scenes in the movie.
Tran added: “We made a decision early on in production that we were going to be diligent about the spoilers of the film, so there were no copies given out of any of the big moments in the film just in case something happens to it.
“It was decided that we’d reveal, in person, to the talent that morning that some of them would not survive at the end of the film, so it was a little nerve-wracking to get the responses. Sad, surprised, etc.”
